Dan has nearly 18 years of public accounting experience focusing on assurance and advisory, with nearly 13 of those years with a Big 4 accounting firm. Most of his time is spent overseeing the audits of domestic companies and their foreign subsidiaries primarily in the consumer & industrial services, manufacturing, distribution, and franchising industries, owned variously by venture capital firms, private equity groups, and families. Dan is also one of the firm’s leaders in the assurance practice for private equity/venture capital funds themselves. Dan centers his practice around a deep understanding of his clients’ businesses and works closely with them through significant and complex transactions on a real-time basis.
Starting college as a music major, Dan switched gears to follow the family tradition. His father, brother, and sister all worked in public accounting at various points during their careers, although music is still very present in Dan’s life. He plays piano at a variety of charity and other events.
