Lurie Again Named Among the Best CPA Firms for Women, Best CPA Firms for Equity Leadership by the Accounting MOVE Project

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Lurie, LLP, one of the nation’s top 200 accounting and consulting firms, was named to the 2020 Accounting MOVE Project list, from the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA), as one of the nation’s Best CPA Firms for Women and Best CPA Firm for Equity Leadership.

The 2020 Accounting MOVE Project report “reveals emerging momentum of women in driving new practice growth,” as stated in the press release. “Everybody gets to innovate as Lurie’s innovation team creates labs, sprints and challenges that tackle client projects and internal processes. Firm leaders say that the constantly refreshed opportunities to try out new ideas have created a talent showcase that spotlights aptitudes and abilities that otherwise might be overlooked.”

In 2020, there are six women partners who lead service teams and departments, demonstrating to all employees and the business community the equity and inclusion are what drives Lurie’s innovative culture.

The Best CPA Firms for Equity Leadership list is based on the MOVE survey results and recognizes firms with at least 50 employees, where women comprise at least 30% of partners and principals. The Equity Leadership list recognizes firms that have achieved this milestone through any combination of culture, programs or initiatives.
