On March 23rd, the Minnesota Department of Revenue announced taxpayers filing their annual Minnesota Individual Income Tax return for tax year 2019 now have until July 15, 2020 to file and make their payments without any penalties or interest. They are still analyzing other tax types that may be impacted by a potential extension of time. Currently, the grace period does not include estimated tax payments for individual income taxes due April 15, 2020 for the 2020 tax year.
