Dan has more than 16 years of public accounting experience at national and local firms, focusing on assurance and advisory. Most of his time is spent overseeing the audits of domestic companies and their foreign subsidiaries primarily in the manufacturing, distribution, consumer & industrial services, transportation, and franchising industries, owned variously by private equity groups, venture capital firms, and families. He centers his practice around a deep understanding of his clients’ businesses and works closely with them through significant transactions on a real-time basis.
Clients often come to Dan for his technical expertise. He is often able to find alternative solutions and structures in order to obtain desired outcomes. Internally, he is very passionate about staff training and development.
Starting college as a music major, Dan switched gears to follow the family tradition. His father, brother and sister all worked in public accounting at various points during their careers, although music is still very present in Dan’s life. He plays piano at variety of charity and church events and still does some studio sessions when such opportunities arise.
